If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, or if you keep up with our blog, you know that over the summer, Sweb Development was given the wonderful opportunity to partner with ATKG, a San Antonio-based accounting firm. As part of our mission to collaborate with local businesses and do our part to maximize their potential to succeed, we excitedly began work on a WordPress website to complement the firm’s newly updated image.
COO Debbie Roos put it like this: “What we are is a great accounting firm, but it seems like all people hear when you describe yourself is, ‘accounting firm,’ and you lose their interest. We didn’t want to be that stodgy old man of a business. And we’re not. We’re young, we’re savvy, and we take great care of our clients.”
ATKG’s search turned up several digital marketing agencies. It wasn’t until Roos researched Sweb Development a bit more and had the chance to talk with our Founder and CEO, Magaly Chocano, that she came to a final decision.
“It seemed like they knew us,” Roos gushed. “Magaly told us that Sweb would make us look online how we are in person. And they did.”
After the chat with Chocano and a visit to Sweb’s website, Roos and the entire ATKG team were on board with the vision.
The reception of the new face of ATKG has been overwhelmingly positive, according to Roos. The accounting firm has finally been given “a face to match the voice”, thanks to Sweb. One of the goals of the rebranding was not only to satisfy existing clients, but to bring in new recruits as well, and that’s exactly what has happened. Sweb has brought synchronicity between the persona of ATKG and their online image.
But that’s not all.
“Sweb has helped us learn about our own website and how to operate some things ourselves. We have people within our agency who can get online, update photos, add information, or write blogs. They’ve helped us become self-sufficient in that way,” Roos said.
Since the new website’s launch on Halloween this year, ATKG has experienced a spike in website traffic, several new clients, and an immeasurable increase in client satisfaction.
“We couldn’t be happier with what Sweb has done for us as an agency, and as part of the community. And on a side note, we’ve just had a lot of fun with them.”
