Moontower Fest

Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival in Austin, TX came to Sweb wanting a front-end website to publicize their event as well as a back-end system that allowed end-users to create and customize their schedules for the week.

Sweb developed an interactive website through WordPress to spread event details, show performer lineups, and allow users to purchase tickets online. Comedians who were part of the festival were able to connect their Twitter feeds to their dedicated space on the homepage, showing a live feed specific to them. In conjunction with this, Sweb developed a back-end personal login system that allowed users to pick and choose specific events, creating their own personal “line-up” for the week.

The end product was a site that connected attendees to information about the festival, gave comedians an extra space to express themselves, and allowed users to customize their own experience with Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival.
