Last night Magaly Chocano received the 2013 Innovator Award presented by The Social Revolucion (link to the site no longer available) at SXSW Interactive last night. As a nominee, she was among 170 Latino leaders nominated in multiple categories including Mobilizer, New Americano, and Innovator. She was selected and honored for all her efforts in establishing and building the Sweb Development brand, the creators of the first “build your own app” platform, SwebApps.
Anticipating the growth of the mobile market and having the vision of businesses of all sizes finding their place in the mobile space SwebApps was launched alongside web development services. As a growing company with growing clientele Magaly was seen as a leader in her industry and amongst the Latino Community as a whole.
