It’s a question that businesses of all sizes ask on a daily basis. Do I need a mobile app or a mobile website? What’s the difference between the two? And we’re always happy to field these questions because there is a distinct difference and at the end of the day, the size of your budget also plays a role in what you can afford. More often than not we see companies promote “custom mobile apps” or “we design apps” when in reality they are simply making an existing website mobile friendly. There not necessarily anything wrong with a web app as long as the client understands the distinct difference.
