Magaly doesn’t like to be called the boss, but having built an award-winning company from scratch, she deserves the title. (We think she’d prefer the term “Superstar!”) This former singer-turned-advertising producer is the visionary behind Sweb’s whirlwind growth, and there’s no doubt that she will be the reason it remains a force in the tech community.
Taylor’s unwavering sense of responsibility is one of his greatest strengths, whether commanding the shuttle in third grade Space Camp, managing product development, or ensuring the quality and efficiency we promise our clients. Don’t worry about him getting stressed, though; he always finds time for Keyboard Cat.
The web development team has a great leader in Rudy, who likes to surprise clients with extra features they never even thought to ask for. He’s a hard-working guy: when he was growing up, Rudy would shine shoes to earn money for fruit cups. He’s graduated to building complex web systems and databases, but still enjoys a good fruit cup.
Not much for small talk, Susana prefers to express herself through her Spotify playlist and her gorgeous designs. Whether it’s Shakira or Nine Inch Nails on any given day, we can always guarantee our clients that her creative vision will produce fun, stylish, and unique designs for their web, app, and marketing projects.
Tirso is our one-man Finance, Maintenance, Construction, Transportation, Billing, Interior Design, and Human Resources department. Outside of Sweb, he’s an accomplished artist, specializing in sculpture, and he brings his creative problem-solving skills to everything he does at the office.
Eric Romoff is Sweb’s resident Business Development expert. He’s got a keen eye for matching customers to Sweb’s world-class products and services. When not walking through King William closing deals and scrubbing for new business opportunities, Eric can be found making cameo appearances on Sweb’s Insta feed.
Luis manages social media accounts for Sweb. If you have questions about what not to post on Facebook, he’s your guy. And he is responsible for the incredible engagement we have been able to generate for our clients, as well as the tasty enchiladas baking at his house at least once a week.
Judy decided to go into web development when she found out how much school was required to be a doctor. Her attention to detail and passion for the latest tech trends mean that we can always trust the quality of her work. And we sort of have to, because she’s the undefeated Sweb Women’s Arm Wrestling champion.
From playing sports in his youth to serving in the Marine Corp, Joshua has used his talents to become proficient in teamwork, discipline, and strategy. After fours years as a combat veteran with a Purple Heart, he decided to follow another dream of becoming a web developer. He is a proud member of the Sweb team and is continually expanding his knowledge and sharpening his skills in web development.
Raul is an everyday guy who loves anything to do with video games and dancing, from Mario Kart and Just Dance, to Salsa, Hip Hop, and Capoeira, he’s got all the moves. He began his career as a programmer ten years ago with flash, and loves to jump in head first with code to affect powerful changes. So go ahead and challenge him to a dance-off.
Alex, our iOS developer, has helped develop over 50 apps in the last six years. As a senior iOS developer, Alex loves thinking through apps in a detailed way to deliver a great user experience and incredible performance. He is also a passionate skier and ping pong player.
After discovering how to harness a wireless signal, Stephanie was able to wirelessly transfer her cat’s thoughts into readable text. Stephanie and her cat are working on writing about feline societies. Stephanie is a firm proponent of the metric system. Unfortunately, she doesn’t find the humor in her recent essay titled, “Metric is 10 Times Better than the Imperial System.”
Kathryn, our lovable web project manager, has a heart for social justice. She has braved foot sucking leaches and enjoyed elephant baths while combatting human trafficking in Nepal. She is also responsible for getting the office into the gambling during NCAA March Madness, and showing us a thing or two about brackets. Credited with starting our weekly office basketball games, she keeps us on our toes on the court and in the office, making baskets and keeping deadlines. #kathykayparker
Emily, another addition to our project management team, keeps the office happy with her unending supply of home baked sweet treats. When she’s not at her desk making to-do lists and drafting timelines, she can be found jet setting off to another corner of the world or making her own custom jewelry. Our clients can always count on her creativity and knack for problem solving on their projects…and we can count on a nicely baked cake from time to time.
Amy joined the team with a background in nonprofit program management, and is a social media maven to boot. With a heart for creative reuse, and eco-friendly living, Amy loves to think outside of the box and is great at tying together all the loose ends in the office while managing all of Sweb’s social media channels. When she’s not being supermom to her four kiddos, she can usually be found swing dancing or taking a yoga class.
When Dover isn’t chewing the bark or licking cookies on developers desks, he is winning hearts. Dover provides the office with unconditional love and devotion. He aspires to be a service dog, helping with stress and anxiety. #doginamillion
Charlotte’s primary responsibility at Sweb is to bite the hands that feed her…especially when we’re chasing her out of the street on one of her daily escapes. She enjoys visiting her favorite Yoga instructor next door; sleeping in her custom, handmade, two-story cathouse; and watching bird videos on her iPad.
